Mouthguards
A mouthguard is a protective device for the mouth that covers the teeth and gums to prevent and reduce injury to the teeth, arches, lips and gums. Mouthguards are used as a treatment for bruxism (teeth grinding) or as part of certain dental procedures, such as tooth bleaching. Our dentist will take an impression of your teeth and then the dental technicians will create the mouth guard in the laboratory. Mouth guards are used in the night during sleep to prevent damage from teeth grinding.
There are two types of mouth guards: the simple and the reforced mouth guard.
